Coneflower Echinacea purpura
A bright flowering perennial herb with dark pink flowers on long stems, blooming in early to mid-summer. Known as purple coneflower, but can also be found in a white-flowering variety. This is a beautiful, easy to grow native with medicinal benefits. Attracts butterflies. Will reseed.

Drought tolerant once established. Do not overwater.

Remove faded blooms to promote reblooming but leave last blooms at end of fall for birds.
