Zexmenia Wedelia texana
A drought tolerant, flowering herbaceous Texas native perennial with orange-yellow daisy-like blooms from spring through fall. Dies back in north Texas each winter and returns mid-spring. Attracts birds and butterflies; larval host for Bordered Patch, Sierran Metalmark, and Lacinia Patch butterflies.

Growing Requirements
Full Sun, Part Shade, Shade
Grows upright in full sun and more prostrate (and will not flower as much) in shade. Adaptable to soil types but requires good drainage.
Culture & Care
To promote denser growth or re-shape, cut back by half in July. Cut back to ground in winter.
