A native shrub-like, semi-evergreen perennial with an open branching form and small pink flowers, blooming summer through fall. Drought and heat tolerant. Short-lived but self-sows and propagates from softwood cuttings. Attracts hummingbirds, butterflies, birds, and bees. Also known as Rose Mallow.
