Growing Requirements
Full Sun
Needs good drainage but otherwise adaptable to soil types. Plant with organic material. Thrives in sun and warmth.
Culture & Care
Water during drought when plant is fruiting. Fertilize lightly in February, May, and September. Top-dress with 2″ layer of compost once a year. Prune to remove crossing limbs and to promote air circulation, ideally in winter.
Harvest
Harvest fruit when they have colored and make a metallic sound when tapped. Pick just as fruit ripens; will crack if well-ripened.
